Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK), otherwise known as Bangkok International Airport is one of the busiest airports in South East Asia.
It’s a popular airport for connections between Europe and Australia or New Zealand, as well as the main hub for the massive tourist industry in Thailand.
All of that noise and those queues can be slightly offset by using one of the 39 airport lounges at BKK.
On my last visit, I was lucky enough to have access to the Emirates Lounge with my ticket. However, there’s still plenty of options if you want to pay for access, or use a Priority Pass or Dragon Pass.
Lounges Accessible by Payment or Pass (Examples)
Miracle Lounge
- Location: Concourse D, International Departures.
- Opening Hours: 24 hours daily.
- Maximum Stay: 2 hours.
- Access: Available for c. £28 or through Priority Pass and Dragon Pass.
Coral Executive Lounge
- Location: Domestic Concourse A, Domestic Departures.
- Opening Hours: 05:00 - 22:00 daily.
- Maximum Stay: 2 hours.
- Access: Available for a fee or through Priority Pass. Dragon Pass uses the Miracle Lounge in the Domestic Terminal.
BKK Lounge Access via Pre-Purchased Passes
Both Priority Pass and Dragon Pass offer a huge number of lounges in their programs, across both domestic and international terminals. In my experience of Priority Pass, the listings can change from time to time, so it’s easier for me to provide you with links to the current list (the following are not affiliate links):

The only lounge that offers walk-ins at Bangkok Airport is the Oman Air First & Business Class Lounge. Expect to pay around £46 per person and not to be allowed in if it’s too busy.
The only lounge group that allows prebooking is the Miracle Business and First Class lounges. Miracle has 8 lounges spread across the domestic and international terminals.
Bangkok Lounges: Additional Information
- Some lounges have specific access criteria for different passenger classes and memberships, so it’s important to check the details for each lounge. That includes not just your ticket type, but where you rank if the lounge is busy or how long you can stay.
- Pretty much every lounge offers a standard set of amenities, e.g., food, drinks, quiet areas. The quality of food and drinks will vary and not all will have shower facilities.
